This month I wish to share with you some of my favourite websites and why I think you should look at them! Was going to get a review of the PSP done but I can’t prise it out of my brother’s hands since he bought Liberty City Stories, so that will be next month.
Firstly, www.ebaumsworld.com. Full of games, pictures, jokes, stories, daft powerpoint presentations….. There are so many games here, ranging from the easy to the downright fiendish. There are some I have lost hours on, examples being ‘The Waitress’, ‘Grid Lock’, and ‘Fishy’. The latter of the that group being you start as a very small fish in a pond and can only eat fish smaller than you all the way through. You get bigger and bigger until you eat all the fish in the place. It’s very tricky and you just can’t help but want to finish it. The pictures are hilarious, unfortunately I am now revealing the site where I get most of my material for on humour, but hey I would have been rumbled sooner or later.
The next is www.weebl.jolt.co.uk, featuring Spacedinvaders favourites. Basically two egg shaped guys talking to each other about random things, including other characters such as Monkey, Apple Dave and Eggsybit. You have to watch them to understand, but this is sheer comedy genius. May I recommend the ‘History of the World’ sections for a start. Cliking on the ‘mainsite’ link on the right hand side will take you to various other works of genius such as ‘Magical Trevor’ and ‘On the Moon’, featuring the Toast King and Insanity Prawn boy.
One which our own Jackie Joy introduced me to, www.gofugyourself.com. Some don’t like this site owing to it’s sheer bitchiness, however some of the outfits these millionaires who pay people to look like that are just atrocious. Release your inner bitch!
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/hot/office-attachments/index.html, features various daft attachments people have been sending each other, amusing cartoons and tricky excel quizzes. If you’re a bit bored at work visit this site. It even includes a boss button which will alter your screen into a complicated arrangement of pie charts and spreadsheets that will make you look busy at the same time!
www.empireonline.co.uk, pick up the latest information on upcoming releases and any news on any film that may be out in the future. This kept me up to date with the Matrix movies and Star Wars, without it I would have been trailer-less!
