Machines, our support
And loved ones, our wings
Prayers, to Someone
Please, remember

Today:
I watched as Hindus worshiped
I think you would have shook your head
But knowing that helps me smile
Last week:
I thought about sending you flowers
Plants to ward off sickness
But I guess it is too late
Last month:
I helped you make salad
Cucumbers and herbs with vinegar
Thank you for being a teacher
Today:
Maybe my feelings are inconsequential
But its important for me
To keep some part of you alive
