Ink Blot
4K Stats

The stats for May are below. Because the Blot will be coming out more than once in the month of June, the stats will be duplicated for editions issued in the same month. This month continues to show a drop in total posts made from same time last year. A chart was created to compare total monthly posts count from last year to this year. The highest number of posts by member was added back to the stats. Be sure to click on each tab of the sheet below to view the different stats collected!!

One of the highest participated threads in the Month of May was Otter's God is closer than you think... post on Holy War board. I asked him his thoughts on the reaction to this thread and he answered, "I really didn't post it for the purpose of engaging dialogue. However, I really enjoyed talking to people who responded with an open mind and a willingness to discuss. I learned a lot. Thank you 4k!". Todate (May 26th), the thread has gotten 685 responses!!

Another first in the month of May was Four's Vampire Invasion Game on the Community board. I decided to ask him what his thoughts were on running this game and how it went and he responded with this:
"It was the first time I tried running a game, and I think it went pretty well. I would have prefered having a dozen people sign up, but we only managed ten. I was glad to see some non-Witch Hunt players take the plunge, though.

The most difficult part of running the game was getting all the PMs out. I hadn't thought about that before hand. I needed to type up ten different PMs each time, tailored to each player, and try to get them out in a timely fashion. What I did was type them all out first then paste them into PMs. Also, I was afraid I'd mess something up, send a message to the wrong person, or have an error in the info!

It was interesting to watch people's strategies, although since it was the first time anyone has played this game, I think few people had an idea of what kind of strategy would work. This might have resulted in some frustration or confusion. But if we do this game again, maybe players will have a better feel for what will work and what won't work, and there will be a more strategic game. I think a lot of the human players were just shooting randomly in the beginning, before getting accustomed to the mechanics of the game.

I hope people had fun playing!"

Be sure to let Four know how you felt about the game if you haven't already. He's provided a feedback post on the Community board. Now to the stats for May:
