By Bruised and Achae

In the February issue, we held an election with ten Spanish place names to give you all a chance the name the town in which Inner Bruise is set.

We published our election in the Blot. Emails were sent out encouraging people, including the Blot staff, to vote. Bruised even posted a thread on the Community forum canvassing for votes (well, call you call it canvassing if it's not asking for votes for a particular name?) Anyway . . .

In the end, eight of you voted. We got just enough people participating to avoid ties.

Here are the ten names and the number of votes for each name, from fewest to most:

Echeverria - 0

Guevara - 0

Las Granadas - 0

Las Lomas - 0

Villarreal - 1

Nispero - 2

Vallarta - 2

Los Caballos - 3

From now on, Inner Bruise will speak of Los Caballos, California. Sounds like somewhere you could reach after a thirsty all-afternoon ride during the Gold Rush, doesn't it?

Interesting fact: Achae didn't vote. However, she said that if she did vote she would've picked Nispero.
