The tallmanian Movie Challenge: Round 3 Answers
by tallman
The winner of round 3 is... Samael, with a whopping 9 correct answers. Coming in second was Domino with a solid 6 correct answers...
A reasonable amount of entries this month, but not a lot of repeat players - play every month to win the cumulative prize (Which will be some sort of DVD set awarded after maybe the 6th month...) Right now, Samael and Sovawanea are doing pretty well on the cumulative front... So here are the answers to round 3:

Wasn't sure if this would be recognized, but a surprising amount of you got this one right (not counting the 12 Angry Men guess, heh). Also, I love Kristen Bell as a brunette. And dressed as slave Leia. And as a blond. But I digress.
Screenshot 2: Thank You for Smoking
Another good showing for this one. Good job people! Great movie too.
Screenshot 3: Pulp Fiction
I was surprised at how many people didn't get this one. People who recognized both actors but still didn't get it. Come on people, Winston Wolf!
Screenshot 4: Donnie Darko
An ok showing for this one, but sometimes, I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion. Then again, I did choose a more obscure shot featuring a small character.
Screenshot 5: The Usual Suspects
Once again, I chose a minor character for the screenshot, which seems to have foiled a few of you. But a decent job nonetheless.
Screenshot 6: Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
I thought this would be easy, but I guess I should have chosen a shot that had both Harold and Kumar. Even then, someone did guess that this was the inferior Escape from Guantanamo Bay sequel.
Screenshot 7: Old School
A decent showing and a funny guess of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Heh. I need more funny guesses! Will be awarding points in future rounds (see Round 4!)
Screenshot 8: The Manchurian Candidate
And I stumped 4k. Go me. A lot of Maltese Falcon guesses. Also Notorious. Alas, it was not to be.
Screenshot 9: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Again surprised that more people didn't get this one, and this time I chose one of the more iconic images from the movie, so there's no excuse people!
Screenshot 10: Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan
So this is a tough one, if only because the Friday the 13th series is very long and many of the installments seem to blend together, etc... However, I was surprised that most people didn't even recognize that it was a Friday the 13th movie at all. Two people got this and one got half a point for recognizing the series, but still. This was an easy partial credit one - that's one of the most iconic horror villains of all time. Also, I chose a screenshot with him in Times Square so that it would make it a lot easier to figure out which installment. Anyway, bad movie. Terrible. Except for that scene where Jason punches this guy so hard that his head flies off. That part's fun.
That wraps up this round. Good luck on the next one!
